Item 1: The situation I decided to explore in my script, the act came from a child that was getting abused by his father and he couldn’t take it so he called me (social worker) as it was going on for to long so he called as he knows we can help any child that is going through any type of abuse or stress. His father wasn’t drinking before but he stated as he lost his wife in  a car crash he was so angry then he turned mad as he is going through a lot, as he lost someone he loved and actually cared about. It was his fault as he was arguing when his wife was driving and he knows but as he don’t want to take the blame for it he takes it out on his son.

in my act there was 4 students involved who are me jemel and tyreese, in the act i am suppost to be a social worker that looks after children and i lost my son so seeing other children getting treated in a very awful way it makes me feel sad . tyreeces act in the script was to be a child that gets abused by his father and he doesn’t like it so he is the smart one that calls us as he knows we can help. jemel is the father that looses his wife and gets drunk and starts to abuse his child.

In my script there is a central question in my script which is, Do you think the child should be treated in this way? I chose this question because In my opinion I don’t think he should or the fathers anger should be taken out on him.

My pros in my script was that we managed to look after the child after when we found out there was a thin line going across his head looking like he has got cut by a knife so we took him into social services which is a place that adults work really well with kids so this means that we have saved the child from any harm. The cons in my act was that the child shouldn’t even get hurt by a farther like that the father should love his child and treat him like family as that’s all he had left with him as his wife passed away.

my initial ideas in the act was that when i wanted to have a conversation with the child to see if he was safe here and if he feels alright but we changed it to when we go inside the room we whitnessed the child killed himself by hanging himself. A next thing we changed was when i was leaving the house i was meant to tell the father we are taking the child and the father just looks at the tv and play no attention to me and then i tell him he is the evilist father i seen but we changed it to me just taking the child but when am going with the child the father will show me the way to his room and then i see how he is feeling but we changed it to when i go into the room for some reason the child doesn’t want to leave so he starts screaming for the fathers help.
